Sarah Sacks psychotherapist melbourne

Hi, I’m Sarah Sacks.

I have always been fascinated by people, nature, and well-being. Located in Bayside Melbourne, I am a trained psychotherapist and counselor and have been in the mental health space for over 15 years.

As a therapist, I have worked in not-for-profit, community health, and was the founder of a thriving group practice. These days I work in private practice as a solo practitioner, I am an IFS Institute program assistant, and chair of Left Write Hook, a charity supporting survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

In therapy, I enjoy working with individuals and couples, largely around struggles with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationships.

I take a holistic approach to my therapeutic work, so often invite my clients to engage in self-care and mindfulness practices in between sessions.

To help keep me feeling strong and inspired, I love time in nature, body-based mindful practices, the arts, writing, learning, and most importantly time with the people I hold dear.
