You do not have to figure out the path alone.
I’ve always been deeply curious about people, nature, and what it means to truly thrive. That curiosity has shaped my path over the last 15+ years in the mental health space, working across not-for-profit organisations, community health settings, and eventually founding a busy group practice.
These days, I work one-on-one with individuals and couples in private practice, offering counselling and professional supervision. In both roles, I provide a calm and grounded space to reflect, explore, and grow – whether you’re a client seeking personal healing or a fellow practitioner looking to deepen your work and sustain yourself in the field.
I support clients through a wide range of challenges, including burnout, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship difficulties. My approach is holistic and collaborative – working at your pace, and often weaving in mindfulness and body-based practices to support healing both in and between sessions.
In addition to my private work, I’m a program assistant with the IFS Institute and chair Left Write Hook, a charity supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse – a cause very close to my heart.
Outside of the therapy room, I recharge by spending time in nature, writing, moving my body, enjoying the arts, and, most importantly, being with the people I love. These are the things that keep me feeling connected, inspired, and human – just like you.
Hi, I’m Sarah Sacks – a psychotherapist and supervisor based in beautiful bayside, Melbourne.
